NOW HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

Lead Installer

The Installer at STUART is responsible for the successful, high-quality installation of products at
client homes. This role requires careful preparation, clear communication, technical execution,
and excellent customer service. Installers use Zoho Projects to manage their schedules, review
project documentation, clock time, and record progress daily. A STUART Installer plays a key
role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while maintaining the standards and
reputation of the company.

Responsibilities:

1) Plan & Review (Daily)

  • Check assigned projects in Zoho Projects; review task list and Gantt.

  • Study pick sheets, photos, and notes to confirm scope and requirements.

2) Pre-Install Verification (Day Before)

  • Locate the staged project in the warehouse.

  • Verify materials/products against documentation; load tools and product into the STUART vehicle.

  • Flag any shortages or ambiguities to the Warehouse Manager or Project Coordinator.

3) On-Site Execution & Reporting (Daily)

  • Arrive on time and install to STUART craftsmanship and quality standards.

  • Clock into the correct “Installation” task in Zoho at start of day.

  • Post an end-of-day Status update in Zoho with progress, issues, and completions.

  • Request support for materials/logistics via Zoho or the Project Coordinator as needed.

4) Client Walkthrough & Satisfaction (At Completion)

  • Conduct a full walkthrough with the homeowner against scope and standards.

  • Demonstrate product operation/maintenance (e.g., shade systems, covers).

  • Address questions and confirm satisfaction before wrap-up.

5) Closeout & Handoff (Same Day as Completion)

    • Collect the final balance (check/card or per Finance Manager arrangements).

    • Ask the homeowner for a 5-star Google review if satisfied.

    • Notify the Project Coordinator that the job is complete and payment collected.

Required Skills:

● Hands-on construction, carpentry, or installation experience
● Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
● Ability to read and follow technical documentation and plans
● Familiarity with using mobile apps or software (Zoho Projects preferred)
● Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication with homeowners
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
● Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varied conditions

Full Time Job-

Compensation:  $25– $40/hr. w/holiday and vacation pay

Awning Installer Helper/Apprentice

As a Helper at STUART, you’ll support our Lead Installers in the hands-on installation of awnings, pergolas, and other outdoor solutions. Your role involves assisting with on-site tasks, preparing materials, and ensuring that each project progresses smoothly. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the field, as we offer training to help you develop the skills needed for a successful career in outdoor installations. Your enthusiasm and teamwork will be vital in contributing to the quality and efficiency of our projects.
